HORN, Katherine ("Kitty") **

Actress (1910-1912)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Katherine Horn was one of Thanhouser's most important actresses during the early years of the company. She worked intermittently for Thanhouser, punctuating her film work with stage appearances.

Biographical Notes: Katherine Horn, referred to as Kitty Horn in some articles and releases, joined Thanhouser in 1910 and appeared in several productions through early 1911, including the role as the patriot maid in For Washington (February 21, 1911), soon after which it was reported that she was no longer with the company. However, she appeared in the July 7, 1912 Thanhouser release of Under Two Flags.

Note: Her first name sometimes appeared in publicity as Catherine. Sometimes her surname was misspelled as "Horne."
