Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Cecelia (also spelled as Celia in some notices) Aanstoos was a studio employee at one time.

Biographical Notes: The New Rochelle Evening Standard, June 18, 1917, printed this item: "Bride Former Employee at the Thanhouser Studio: Miss Cecelia Aanstoos, Franklin Avenue, a sister of Mrs. Charles Gercke, Lincoln Street, was married in Bridgeport, Connecticut Saturday to Ralph Rheinhardt, Bath Beach. Miss Aanstoos was at one time employed by Mr. Gercke, superintendent of the Thanhouser studios. The marriage is a surprise to even her most intimate friends. The couple even now it is said are planning to keep the news of their nuptials quiet."

On November 9, 1910 Miss Aanstoos was the center of attention at a surprise party given for her at her Franklin Avenue home. An account in the New Rochelle Evening Standard, November 11, 1910 included a list of over a dozen guests.
