Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Claire Kroell appeared in several Thanhouser films in 1914.

Biographical Notes: Claire Kroell joined Thanhouser in the summer of 1914 and appeared in several releases of that year. One of her roles was as Princess Parlova in the 18th episode of the serial, The Million Dollar Mystery. The New Rochelle Pioneer, October 24, 1914, told of her work: "Claire Kroell is to be featured in dramatic parts in the future because of the excellent showing this lady imparted to parts entrusted to her portrayal."

Notes: Her name was sometimes misspelled as "Clare" and "Crowell." Another screen actress with the same surname, Adrienne Kroell, was very well known during the teens.
