Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Al Bucky, a Jacksonville councilman, appeared in a Thanhouser film in 1916.

Biographical Notes: The following appeared in The Florida Metropolis, Jacksonville, April 10, 1916: "We [Tracey Hollingsworth, newspaper writer] have been questioned as to why we were parading around the city Saturday afternoon preceding by a small band, the members of which were of the darker color, and we beg to advise the inquisitive public that we were part of the Thanhouser Company, who were making a political picture, in which Riley Chamberlin was running for something and we were for him. Al Bucky, one of the perfectly good councilmen of this city, was also with us - he carried one end of the banner."
