Volume III: Biographies

KERR, George F.

Business associate (1914)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: George F. Kerr was vice-president and general manager of the Delta Theatre Corporation, controlled by Charles J. Hite, which operated the Broadway Rose Gardens in New York City in 1914. Despite much advance publicity, the project was a failure, and by autumn of the year, shortly after opening to the public, it was in bankruptcy. It is not certain that Kerr was directly involved with the Thanhouser Film Corporation.
