SYNOPSIS, The Moving Picture World, February 8, 1913:

A nature study in film that will prove as entertaining as it is educational. It was produced by Thanhouser cameramen in California.

REVIEW, The Morning Telegraph, February 9, 1913:

This shows the alligator in his several stages of growth, from babyhood to a ripe old age. It is a film taken at the alligator farm in California.

REVIEW, The Moving Picture World, February 15, 1913:

Interesting pictures of alligators from the time they are squirming little reptiles that can be held in the hands, until they are hundreds of years old. 'Okeechobee' is said to be 500 years old, and certainly looks like an Egyptian mummy. Instructive and well worthwhile, though we have seen similar pictures before.
