Notes: 1. This film, The Wild West Comes to Town, was released under the Majestic name but was added to the end of the Thanhouser film, The Protectory's Oldest Boy. At the time, Thanhouser and Majestic were both controlled by Charles J. Hite, who was an officer of both corporations. While some Majestic films were produced in New Rochelle, most were made at Majestic's Los Angeles studio. 2. Shown in the film were scenes believed to have been of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. 3. New Rochelle tradition, as related to the author by Rick Moody, is that Buffalo Bill visited New Rochelle during the teens and while there appearing in a film had dental work done by Dr. Hartranft, who maintained his office in Beacon Hall, next to the Thanhouser plant. A note to this effect appeared in Dr. Hartranft's obituary published in the New Rochelle Standard-Star.

REVIEW, The New York Dramatic Mirror, August 13, 1913:

"This merely shows the various 'acts' in a Wild West show, presumably Buffalo Bill's. The parade, lassoing, hold-up of stagecoach and the other familiar things are given attention on a half-reel of inferior photography."
