Thanhouser Career Synopsis: At one time Leslie M. Hunt was an actor with Thanhouser, according to a listing in the 1917 edition of the Motion Picture News Studio Directory.

Biographical Notes: Leslie M. Hunt was born in Lafayette, Indiana on April 5, 1885. He pursued a stage career and appeared in such productions as The Squaw Man and Tillie's Nightmare. His screen career included work for Selig, Thanhouser, and Fox. From at least 1913 to 1918 his mailing address was 308 West 48th Street, New York City. In February 1916 he was on stage in the role of Texas Joe, in The Winning of Barbara Worth, at the Valentine Theatre in Toledo, Ohio. In 1918 directory and professional listings stated that he was 6' tall, weighed 155 pounds, and had a light complexion. Among his later picture credits were Life's Whirlpool (Rolfe for Metro, 1917), Peck's Bad Girl (Goldwyn, 1918), and Erstwhile Susan (Realart, 1919). In publicity he was occasionally listed as being five or six years younger than his true age.
