Bystander (1914)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: John Cooper, a child, was a bystander during filming of Their One Love.

Biographical Notes: At about 10 p.m., Thursday, April 1, 1914, a group of flash bombs being handled by Thanhouser property man Joseph Horan exploded in a blinding flash, injuring Horan and four children: James Condon, John Cooper, and two Sieverts children, George and Carl. John Cooper lived at Hayes Street in New Rochelle.
