Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Toodlums, known as The Thanhouser Poodle, was seen in a 1912 film.

Biographical Notes: The Thanhouser Poodle, named Toodlums, the pet of Marie Eline, was a gift from Edwin Thanhouser for Christmas 1911. Soon, mention of the dog appeared in print. The Thanhouser Poodle was seen in the film, Doggie's Debut, released on June 30, 1912, and probably other pictures as well. Toodlums was an attraction at the benefit performance held in Germania Hall, New Rochelle, on February 4, 1913, for those who lost property in the January 13, 1913 Thanhouser studio fire.
