OSGOOD, Anna *

Actress (1916-1917)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Anna Osgood played a child's part for Thanhouser in the 1917 release of When Love Was Blind, filmed in late 1916 and early 1917.

Biographical Notes: Born in New York in 1910, Anna Osgood was educated by private tutors. By 1918 she had played child's parts for Universal, Thanhouser, and Ince, and had appeared in Civilization, The Lonely Heart, The Foolish Virgin, and other films. For Thanhouser she was seen in When Love Was Blind. The 1917 and 1918 editions of the Motion Picture News Studio Directory noted that she was 3'11" tall at the time, weighed 62 pounds, and had a fair complexion, light hair, and blue eyes. Her home address in 1917-1918 was 36 Stanford Avenue, Pasadena, California.
