Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Charles Wilbur Hoffman was a cameraman with Thanhouser during the 1915-1917 era.

Biographical Notes: Born in New York City, Charles Wilbur Hoffman was educated at the Chase School of Art and the International School of Design. His early career included work as a photographer, artist, and portrait painter. His screen career included camera work with Thanhouser, Edison, Paragon, World, Famous Players, Lyman H. Howe, Inc., Royal Cinema-War News Corporation, and Pathé. In 1918 his home address was 395 East 197th Street, New York City, and he worked with Pathé, whose mailing address was 134th Street and Park Avenue, New York.

Note: His name appeared as Wilbur Charles Hoffman in some listings.
