MARRIOTT, Crittenden

Scenario writer (1916)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Crittenden Marriott wrote scenarios for several 1916 Thanhouser films.

Biographical Notes: Crittenden Marriott was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1866. He began his career in Louisville, Kentucky, home of his bride, Katherine Swope. As a writer for the Associated Press and as a reporter and correspondent for various newspapers, he traveled worldwide. He wrote books, magazine serials, short stories, and motion picture scenarios, including scenarios for several 1916 Thanhouser releases. Crittenden Marriott died in Washington, D.C. on March 28, 1932.
