Biographical Notes: Albert Russell, brother of Thanhouser actor William Russell, was born in New York City, August 2, 1890. He was an actor in films and, later, a director. His death occurred of pneumonia, on March 4, 1929, in Los Angeles, California.

Note: Mr. Russell was variously known as Albert (his christening name) and Alfred, and in some credits he was listed as Al Russell.
