BIZEUL, Jacques

Cameraman (1917)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Jacques Bizeul was a cameraman with Thanhouser in 1917.

Biographical Notes: Jacques Bizeul did the camera work for certain 1917 films directed by Emile Chautard, The Fires of Youth and The Heart of Ezra Greer. The Motion Picture Studio Directory, 1919 edition, gave his biography (here paraphrased): "Born in Nantes, France. Laboratory manager and cameraman for Eclair in Paris, later superintendent of Paragon Laboratory; last year and a half photographer for Emile Chautard's productions, C.K. Young, Lena Cavalieri, Alice Brady, Pauline Frederick, and Elsie Ferguson. Home address: West Fort Lee, New Jersey; studio: Famous Players, New York."

Variety, in its issue of July 15, 1925, reported under "Deaths Abroad" that Jacques Bizeul, cameraman, had died in Paris, and that he had worked for some time for American studios.
