Thanhouser Career Synopsis: William Aucker was an actor for Thanhouser at one time, according to a listing in the 1918 edition of the Motion Picture Studio Directory.

Biographical Notes: William Aucker followed a stage career. Among his appearances was a role supporting Irene Fenwick in Wild Oats. He later pursued a screen career and worked with Pathé, Thanhouser, Universal, Solax, Kleine, and Metro (The Turmoil). The 1918 edition of the Motion Picture Studio Directory noted that he was 5'7" tall, had a fair complexion, and had white hair. At the time his agent was Ouida Bergere, whose offices were in Aeolian Hall, New York City.
