BOOTH, Dora *

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Dora Booth was an actress with Thanhouser at one time, according to listings in the Motion Picture News Studio Directory.

Biographical Notes: Dora Booth began her career on the stage, where she appeared in vaudeville and also in serious productions, such as with Richard Mansfield in The City. The New Rochelle city directory for 1911 listed Dora Booth as a resident of 150 Main Street.

The 1917 and 1918 editions of the Motion Picture Studio Directory noted that Dora Booth's screen career included ingenue parts with Thanhouser and Universal. She was described as being 5'7" tall, having a dark complexion, and brown hair and brown eyes. Her mailing address at the time was care of Edward Small, Inc. in the Putnam Building, New York City.
