WELSH, George T. *

Actor (1914-1916)

Thanhouser Career Synopsis: George T. Welsh was an actor with Thanhouser from 1914 to 1916.

Biographical Notes: George T. Welsh appeared in Thanhouser films from early 1914 onward, including in Falstaff comedies in 1915 and 1916. In early 1916 he worked at Thanhouser's Jacksonville, Florida studio. His employment with Thanhouser was intermittent, and in the spring of 1915 he was working with the World Film Corporation, under Howell Hansel and the Mittenthal Studio in Yonkers, New York.

Note: His surname appeared as "Welch" in some notices, including articles in Jacksonville newspapers in 1916.
