Thanhouser Career Synopsis: Irene Christie was shown on a set from one of the David Copperfield films (Thanhouser, 1911) as a member of the "joining room brigade," in a photograph published in The Moving Picture News, January 20, 1912. She was among those who attended the Thanhouser outing on September 7, 1912. In 1911 her address was 10 Mt. Aetna Place, New Rochelle, the same address as William Christie. The New Rochelle Pioneer, December 26, 1914, reported that she had been advanced to the position of negative editor. In 1915 she married Thanhouser film technician Lawrence Fowler (see Fowler biography for details).

Note: The Thanhouser employee is not to be confused with another Irene Christie, a young girl, who was Miss All-American Jubilee at the 1939 World's Fair in New York City.
